Siberian Thrush (The Last of my Christmas Artwork)

These are some illustrations i compiled for Deryk Shaw (Fair Isle Bird Observatory Warden)as a memoir of his discovery of a 1st Winter Male Siberian Thrush on Fair Isle back in 2008 and as a thank you present for all that he did for me during 2009. Not only was he a dream boss but gave me one of the best jobs in the world. I don't know whether he has received the work yet so i just hope he opens his package before reading this.

Spectacled Eider (Christmas Work Continued)

Firstly I'm SORRY for the lack of posts on my blog over the festive period i have been away at Spurn and will be continuing with on going artwork now im back much to my excitement.

The following is a piece of work i worked on for Tommy Hyndman and his family for a Christmas Present and represents his dream bird on Fair Isle where he lives. Not only is it one of the most likely place for one of these stunning birds to turn up but was a beautiful bird to illustrate. I just hope i get the chance to illustrate it in person when it arrives on our shores.

I have more posts to follow but please bear with me as some people may still not have received them as presents so am unable to post them as yet.
